In the past, our participants have finished one program in four months, and both programs in eight months.
However, for those of you who prefer an accelerated pace, you can complete the entire program in as little as two months! This accelerated option is ideal for teachers and others who often have breaks in their work schedule over the summer.
Or…. for those of you who need a slower, more flexible pace, you can take your time and spread out your learning up to 12 months from the time you enroll.

Core and Advanced – what’s the difference?

The Core Program: Trauma-Informed Specialist (TIS) includes all the information you need to support children and share information with other parents and teachers in your current role. Our Trauma-Informed Specialist graduates are all parent and teacher leaders making a difference in their own families and classrooms and having an impact on the organizations they serve. The Core Program is also a pre-requisite course for the Advanced Program.
The Advanced Certification Program: Certified Parent Coach and Educational Trainer (ACP) is a hands-on, practical training and mentorship for those who want to advance in their careers and/or start their own businesses as parent coaches or school trainers. In this program, you will complete a coaching practicum and training experience and receive feedback to help you improve your shills as a coach and a trainer. You must complete the Core Program: Trauma-Informed Specialist before enrolling in the Advanced Program.
Can I enroll in both the Core and Advanced Certification Programs at the same time?
YES! We have re-designed our program for our upcoming cohort so that it is possible to sign up for both programs, Core and Advanced, at the same time to take advantage of our limited-time 50% Scholarship!

A limited number of partial scholarships are available each cohort for those who are BIPOC, LGQTQIA+, or have significant financial need. These partial scholarships are availably only to those who are paying directly from their own funds or applying for reimbursed after graduation, not for those whose schools or organizations are paying for their tuition in advance.
